Hi, my name is Sethukile S, and I am a female home carer with years of experience in providing compassionate care. I am dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. As a carer, I am capable of providing various care types, including live-in care, hourly care, and overnight care.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, each with unique needs. I have experience in caring for individuals with mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care, ensuring the safety and comfort of my clients. Additionally, I provide much-needed companionship, understanding the importance of emotional support in their daily lives.
Although I don't have a car, my ability to drive allows me to transport clients to appointments, social outings, and errands. My caring nature and friendly demeanor have allowed me to build strong relationships with clients and their families. I am committed to going above and beyond to ensure my clients' needs are met, making their wellbeing my top priority.
Outside of my caregiving duties, I enjoy engaging in activities that nourish my own well-being. Walking, dancing, and cooking and baking are some of my favorite hobbies. I also take delight in socializing and staying connected with others, as well as spending time watching TV to unwind.
Furthermore, I have a fondness for pets, particularly cats and fish. Their presence brings joy and a sense of warmth to any environment. I am more than willing to care for and provide companionship for any furry friends in the household.
My attributes as a carer are rooted in my genuine caring nature, friendly disposition, and helpful attitude. I believe in treating each client and their loved ones with dignity, respect, and empathy. My motivation for being a carer stems from my desire to enable individuals to lead independent lives while knowing that they have someone trustworthy and dependable by their side.
